Today, Samsung Electronics Co. has stopped all production of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, but only for temporarily although we don't know for how long. This was officially stated by a supplier for Samsung, as there are still more reports of the Note 7 replacements catching fire.

As Malaysians wait for 29 September 2016 for our Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replacement to begin, Samsung have confirmed certain features that these new "safe" Galaxy Note 7 smartphones will have. First off, it will have a new green battery icon which you can see on the Status Bar, Always On display screen and Power Off prompt screen.
Secondly, your box will have a black square sticker, rather than the earlier reported blue 'S'. Don't worry if you have the black square but don't have the green battery icon, Samsung said they would update it shortly. If you don't have both, best go get it replaced as soon as possible.
